Engineers with ten years of experience do not want an introduction to Python. They want to know which of their existing instincts transfer and which ones will quietly mislead them.
Structure
Six weeks, one session and one exercise each. Weeks one to three on framing, data and evaluation; weeks four to six on models, deployment and monitoring. Evaluation comes before modelling on purpose.
What made it work
The exercises used the organisation's own data. Generic datasets are clean in ways that teach the wrong lesson.
Outcome
Four cohorts delivered; two internal projects shipped by alumni afterwards.
